Glen Bartlett

Glen Bartlett practices in all aspects of Workplace Relations and Employment Law. Glen has worked in the Industrial Relations area since 1986, including three years as a Union Advocate, four years as an academic and has practised advising employers on all aspects of Workplace Relations and Employment Law since 1994.

Glen has acted for a wide range of significant Private and Public sector clients and some of Australia’s largest employers, covering a wide range of industries including: Local, State and Commonwealth Government employers; Transport and Logistics; Construction; Power supply; Energy; Resources; Retail; Higher Education; Health; Emergency Services; Sport and Entertainment; Postal; Security Agencies; and Agribusiness.

With over 25 years’ experience in leadership roles, Glen has also worked closely with clients to help drive cultural change and has trained over 5,000 executives including HR Professionals, managers, front line leaders and In-house lawyers, covering, employment law, HR fundamentals, enterprise bargaining and Workplace Investigations. He has also developed and facilitated extensive workshops on enterprise bargaining, managing employee performance and conduct; managing ill and injured employees; and workplace investigations.

Michelle was a practising Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya (Malaysia) and brings years of experience to the team, and advising clients in risk litigation particularly commercial litigation. Michelle also specialises in complex workplace investigations involving a broad range of employment issues.

Brett Pomroy

Workplace Lawyer I Senior Workplace Investigator

Brett is a Workplace Lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in the areas of industrial and employee relations, human resources, workers compensation and OHS.

Brett has led, conducted and advised on investigations across several industry sectors, including higher education, local government, construction, oil and gas and mining. Brett has worked with clients from a wide range of industries including manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, construction and education, providing Workplace Relations services across Australia including Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Human Resources, Work Compensation and OHS.

Brett has extensive experience appearing as an advocate on behalf of employers in the Fair Work Commission on matters such as Unfair Dismissal Conciliations, General Protections Conciliations, Stop Bullying Applications, Unfair Dismissal Hearings, Underpayment Claims, Appearance in respect to lodging EAs, Disputes in relation to EA clauses, Award modernisation and Protected applications disputes and works closely with SME clients in Metro and in regional Victoria.

Brett also facilitates workshops and masterclasses in Workers Compensation and OHS.

Victoria Laspas

Victoria is Director of Bartlett Workplace Education & Training and a Senior Workplace Investigator conducting investigations across a wide range of sectors including the education sector. As Director of Bartlett Workplace Education & Training, Victoria works closely with clients to develop and design bespoke education and training solutions to suit their workplace management, leadership and technical needs.

As a senior Workplace Investigator, Victoria conducts complex investigations including those involving cultural and community sensitivities, senior academics, students and minors.

Victoria also provides training to employers, managers and HR professionals how to prepare for, manage and conduct best practice workplace investigations.
